What is Medifin
MediFin, established in 2012, is one of Southern Africa’s largest, independent Medical Finance and Financial Service Providers. They are all about enabling everyday South African’s to proceed with their medical procedures if they are unable to immediately cover the costs.
How it works
- Get a quote from your doctor, dentist or medical practitioner (or apply using an estimated procedure amount).
- You will need a copy of your ID, proof of income (most recent salary slip), last 3 months’ bank statements and proof of residence (eg. a utility bill).
- Apply online to check whether you qualify for a Medical Finance loan and send them your documents (See Step 2) via email.
- Await approval within the hour.
- Once accepted, they will make a payment directly to your practitioner within 24 hours.
