PET/CT Imaging: Advanced Diagnostic Imaging
Positron Emission Tomography–Computed Tomography (PET/CT) is a state-of-the-art imaging technique that combines the functional insight of PET with the anatomical detail of CT. This powerful fusion allows detection of disease activity—such as cancer spread or recurrence—with exceptional accuracy. PET/CT is vital for staging, assessing treatment response, and guiding care decisions in oncology. General Nuclear Medicine: Functional Insight
Also known as gamma scintigraphy, these scans provide a unique look at how organs and tissues function at a cellular level. Common uses include evaluating the blood flow and muscle function of the heart, investigating bone pain, and assessing kidney or thyroid function. Radionuclide Therapies: Targeted Treatment
We provide advanced therapies that deliver precise doses of therapeutic radiation directly to diseased cells, limiting exposure to healthy tissue. Our treatment options include:
- Thyroid Disease: Radioactive iodine for benign and malignant conditions.
- Prostate Cancer: Lu-177 PSMA RLT and Radium-223 dichloride.
- Neuroendocrine Tumours: Lu-177 DOTATATE PRRT (Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy).

Medical Scheme Matters
Navigating the pre-authorisation process can be cumbersome when it comes to Nuclear Medicine. Fortunately we take care of most of it for you – but problems do occasionally crop up. For your convenience we have explained some of the commonly encountered nuances.
Your Appointment
The radiotracer injection you will receive on the day of your scan is custom-produced daily with a short shelf life, making punctuality critical – please provide 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations. From our side, rare production or equipment issues may occasionally require rescheduling.
